We understand travel plans change. You may log into your Acuity account to book, canceled, or reschedule any appointments 24 hours prior to your test. If you are unable to edit your booking, this means you are within the 24hr window.

Please call 206-333-0595 or email [email protected] and leave a Voice mail message regarding your appointment cancellation or rescheduling details.

Please review our Cancellation Policy for more details regarding cancellations. You can expect your refund within 5-7 business days. Rescheduling appointments are free of charge.

We operate various testing options 7 days a week. You may plan to expect results on both weekends and holidays.

Yes, we welcome our Canadian neighbors to be tested with us.

Please provide your US destination address or testing location address when booking and registering under the patient portal.

You must wear a mask and stay at least six feet away from people outside your immediate travel party. All staff will be in the appropriate PPE and adhere to strict distancing and hygiene protocols. Please let Discovery Health MD know if you are traveling with someone who may need assistance with adhering to these measures. If you have tested positive, please do not come in to be tested, we advise contacting your doctor.

You can find your results on Discovery Health MD’s easy-to-use online portal, including a downloadable PDF for use at various state and international entry points.

 Before your sample is collected on the day of the test, you’ll receive a notecard with a QR code that will direct you back to Discovery Health MD’s results portal.  Here is where you will view your Determination Letter in a digital PDF format. Our Determination Letter includes the following:

Yes, we take walk-ins. However, we do take appointments and honor confirmed bookings before walk-ins. To cut any possible wait times, please book an appointment HERE.

The cost for each test will be clearly defined in the booking process. Please refer to our booking system for the most current and relevant information.

We accept all major debit and credit.

We apologize as we cannot accept cash at this time.

We identify positive COVID-19 cases (as well as asymptomatic) and assist in isolation procedures.

We are not accepting or billing insurance for payment of any kind. 

The Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner FAQ states that insurance will cover testing and treatment for medically-necessary services, while our testing is meant to serve people looking for asymptomatic and travel testing. Travelers may contact their insurance company to find out whether they can be reimbursed for travel testing. Proof of payment receipt can be requested at the time of check in OR contact us at [email protected]

Receipts are not provided automatically upon check-in.
