For travel to Japan, we recommend selecting a Rapid RT-PCR or Rapid NAAT Molecular test to avoid delays in receiving the Certificate of Testing. If you want to receive your Certificate of Testing the same day you test, make sure you book a rapid appointment before 14:00. Otherwise, you will be able to pick up your Certificate the next day at any of our travel testing locations. Certificates must be picked up on site and are prepared in the format provided by the Government of Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

You can access your results by visiting our website www.discoveryhealthmd.com and go to the upper right-hand corner where you will see an option to select ‘Log In’. Please click or hover over this button and then choose the appropriate portal method on the following page. Kindly note, emails can be duplicated for family usage, however, each individual tested will need an unique username to match with their results.

Please note that Discovery Health MD has been approved as a trusted testing partner for Hawai’i. Our partner labs have not directly received approval, but if you test through us, those lab results have been approved by the State of Hawai’i.
Your lab results may have only the name of the laboratory where the specimen was processed. Even though the results may not explicitly name Discovery Health MD, these result formats have been approved by and are being accepted by the State of Hawai’i.
Our partner labs results portal may state that they are not an approved partner. If you have tested through Discovery Health MD, your test results have been approved by the State of Hawai’i.
The State of Hawai’i has stated that they will contact us if there are questions or concerns about the results tested through Discovery Health MD and have our direct contact information available. Upon your arrival to Hawai’i, an airport representative will be able to manually verify that your result is from us and that we are in fact on the list of Trusted Testing Partners.
Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID and practice social distancing. Masks are required on the premises.
Dependents under 18 will need a birth certificate or passport.
If unaccompanied by their guardian, the child will need written permission before testing.
Prior to your appointment, please set up an account HERE for your results. You will need to re-fill out the consent form within 24 hours of your testing appointment.
Before your sample is collected, you will receive a notecard with a QR code that will direct you to our DHMD Results Portal. This can also be found on our website in the upper right-hand corner.
Our Rapid options will results within 50 mins or less depending on test type.
Test results will be sent to employers and Discovery Health MD. Employees should contact their employer to get a copy of their results.

We have no age minimum for testing. We test all ages including infants. All our assays are acceptable to test with any age group. However, be aware that travel restrictions may dictate the age limit allowed for result acceptance. It is your responsibility to ensure you understand the requirements of your destination.

You will schedule any paperwork you need to be processed with the on-site testing administrators on the day you test. Please note that there is a $25 fee for the paperwork.
If your travel destination requires forms, documents, lists, signatures, or seal stamps to be filled out, you will be required to schedule a time with the on-site admin for you to come back. The administrators will discuss with you the best plan of action to match your travel plans and needs.

- PICKUP can ONLY happen once the results have been posted to the client’s account on the Discovery Health portal.
We cannot provide Fit To Fly documents.
Before your sample is collected on the day of the test, you’ll receive a notecard with a QR code that will direct you back to Discovery Health MD’s results portal. Here is where you will view your Determination Letter in a digital PDF format. Our Determination Letter includes the following:

Discovery Health MD is a trusted testing partner for flights to Hawaii as part of the deployment of Hawaii’s pre-travel testing program for inbound travelers. A negative test allows you to bypass Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day quarantine however you must collect your negative test results before flying.
Yes. Bring your passport with you to your appointment. We can also add the passport number retroactively in person or through our Client Engagement team by emailing [email protected].
You cannot add the passport without our assistance.
NOTE: The name on your passport must match the name you test under.
Only one passport can be applied per sample.
You must wear a mask and stay at least six feet away from people outside your immediate travel party. All staff will be in the appropriate PPE and adhere to strict distancing and hygiene protocols. Please let Discovery Health MD know if you are traveling with someone who may need assistance with adhering to these measures. If you have tested positive, please do not come in to be tested, we advise contacting your doctor.
Yes, while our Test-to-Fly program geared toward individuals traveling through airports in the Seattle-Tacoma area we can accommodate testing for anyone at our dedicated sites. You do not need a transiting ticket to be tested.

Once the testing appointments are scheduled, you will receive an email with a link to fill out the online consent and questionnaire. You will be asked if you have any current symptoms or recent exposure to someone with possible COVID-19. If you have symptoms, you should not test and should seek medical care. You will be asked to provide demographic information and answer some questions including your travel history in the past 60 days. This information will help with contact tracing efforts if you or your party have a positive result.
It is very important your name matches your identification exactly.
On the testing day, your ID will be verified and our medical staff will assist you with obtaining the nasal swab specimen. These will be sent to one of our partner laboratories for processing.

We understand travel plans change. You may log into your Acuity account to book, canceled, or reschedule any appointments 24 hours prior to your test. If you are unable to edit your booking, this means you are within the 24hr window.
Please review our Cancellation Policy for more details regarding cancellations. You can expect your refund within 5-7 business days. Rescheduling appointments are free of charge.
We are not accepting or billing insurance for payment of any kind.
The Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner FAQ states that insurance will cover testing and treatment for medically-necessary services, while our testing is meant to serve people looking for asymptomatic and travel testing. Travelers may contact their insurance company to find out whether they can be reimbursed for travel testing. Proof of payment receipt can be requested at the time of check in OR contact us at [email protected]
