The American Heart Association reports more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the US each year, and immediate CPR can double or triple the chance of survival. An AED only helps if someone nearby is trained to use it. This session certifies up to 25 people at once, at your site, so the trained person is never three doors away.
Four skills, hands-on
Adult, child and infant CPR
Compression depth, rate and recovery for every age group, practised on manikins until form holds under fatigue.
AED operation
Pads on, prompts followed, shock delivered. Rehearsed on trainer units so the real one is familiar.
Choking response
Abdominal thrusts and back blows for adults, children and infants, including what to do when the person goes down.
High-quality compressions
100 to 120 per minute, full recoil, minimal interruptions. The metric that decides outcomes.

Yes, participants complete a recognised CPR and AED certification. Employers using it toward OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 first-aid readiness should keep the completion records with their program files.
29 CFR 1910.151 requires a person adequately trained to render first aid where there is no clinic or hospital in near proximity. For vessels, 46 CFR Part 28 adds its own first-aid and CPR expectations for commercial fishing operations. This session covers the CPR side of both.
